Tommy is truly one of the most dynamic entertainers on today's music scene. Along with his unique vocal style, Tommy's high energy and stage presence is the focal point of the Chessmen Show. His performance in the tribute to Elvis and James Brown is one of the many highlights of the show. He has performed with such artists as Brenda Lee, The Platters, and Percy Sledge. Tommy, the only founding member of the Chessmen, owns and operates Chessmen Entertainment, a production and merchandise company.​​
ABOUT US
The Original Chessmen Band has been entertaining all genres of audiences since 1964. Some of these events include Weddings, Golf Tournaments, Fundraisers, Corporate Events, College Home Coming Parties, Nashville Predator's Pre-Game Show, Country Clubs, TN Walking Horse Show, Casinos, Car Shows and More! In 1967 The Chessmen released a top 40 single hit for the song "How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You" recorded at Woodland Studios on the ABET Label. It Charted #1 on Billboard Magazine for 10 weeks. The band performs some of the most memorable and dance worthy tunes from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. In May 2004 the band released a CD of their most requested songs. consist of five vocalists, who play piano, keyboards, harmonica, saxophone, drums, percussion, bass, guitar, dobro, violin, mandolin and banjo. On May 31, 2014 the Chessmen celebrated their 50th Anniversary.
